TITAN MISSILE SILO, Melon Tracks travel

I remember architect Paolo Saleri on TV showing the progress of his utopian city that he was building in a secluded Arizona desert. He was funding its construction by selling wind chimes and using volunteer hippie labor. That was about 30 years ago; we recently stopped by to see how it was progressing. Progress has been slow and it seems to be in the same stage as it was back then. When finished, this city will have a very futuristic 1970's jukebox look. Progress hasn't stopped around them though. The once secluded spot has now been inhabited and even sports a Burger King.
