Since about 1940 Frieda and Garnet Carter's Rock City Garden has been located atop Lookout Mountain. Before that it was their private garden. You can see four states from it's "Lover's Leap." The foggy day we were there it was hard to make out one. The fog did add an extra layer of spookiness. Rock City's creepy Fairland Caverns has dioramas with innovative day glow highlights that are like nothing you have ever seen. Mr. Carters is the inventor one of the 20th Century's greatest sports of course, miniature golf. See Rock City!
